Spring Internet World 2001.

In March 2001, I attended Spring Internet World in Los Angeles, the largest Internet conference in the world. This article was first published in 2001 and outlines some of the things I learnt at the conference. What is interesting for me is how some things have changed while others have not.

Intranet: An Introduction.

What is an Intranet?
In the most general sense an Intranet uses software and TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) standards on a private network, such as an organisation’s LAN (local area network) or WAN (wide area network). An Intranet of a company can also be referred to as a corporate web.
